There may be an error in the bid increment example in the blog post titled \"eBay proxy bidding and eBay bid increments\" (0).
The relevant part of the post is quoted below (emphasis mine):
Quote: | You are upset, yet this is completely as per eBay's bid increment rules, as $114 + $2.50 = $116.50, which is less than your maximum bid. |
I think \"less\" is not correct here. Instead, it should be \"greater\". Since $116.50 is greater than your maximum bid ($116), eBay does not accept your bid.
