I see where the bid increment could have caused a problem on some bids, but it looks like the increment on this item was only $1.00, and I was more than $7 higher than the bid that one. No notes stating the bid was rejected by ebay or anything? Ideas? Thoughts? Thanks for a great product! |

You submitted this snipe 51 minutes after auction already ended, haven't you noticed? |

Interesting! When I tried to add a snipe one minute after auction close using the Greasemonkey autosnipe script, Gixen gave me a warning that it may have been added too late, but happily added it. It did show ENDED after it was added. What surprises me is that Gixen would let me add a snipe on an ended item at all. I can imagine calling up Gixen to add a snipe, getting distracted and coming back and entering it after the auction has ended and not noticing it. Would it make sense not to allow snipes to be added for ended items? _________________ John

Well that would certainly explain it! My list doesn't show when the snipe was added, and I semi-remember thinking there were a few hours left before the bid ended. Must have been looking at an email time, rather than an actual ebay time when I added the snipe.
Thanks for your help!
I love your product - I've told several people about it! Will be signing up for the pro next week.
Thanks, R |

Probably - I don't remember why I allowed that in the first place. |

Well, you can't foresee everything when you first design a system. I suspect that this happens so rarely that it really isn't worth the trouble to fix it. _________________ John
