I am super pissed off, Gixen just ruined my snipe today.

I tried to update my bid from 353? to 360? in last 30 seconds becose someone bidded 357?, the site bugged or something, it showed me some server error.

I refresh the page again and see my bid update to 360? so I think I am safe, the auction ends and lost.

In email, it says my bid was 353? and the 357? bidder won, WTF?
I refresh Gixen and lo and behold, there are two duplicate auction snipes.

Top snipe is the 360? but it lost becose it was too late.
Below identical snipe just with the old 353? value, lost becose too low.

What is most infuriating is that I had atleast 20 seconds to manually put my 360? bid in and I could have easily won if this stupid useless buggy website didnt derp out at worst moment AND simultaneously falsely show it updated my max bid when it DID NOT!

If it just kept showing the error screen or if it kept showing my old low bid, I would have just bidded manually and won, but it lied to me, it gave me false sense of security, misleading me by showing my bid change as successfull.

Can I change my bid after I've entered it in Gixen?
Yes, just click the [Edit] box next to your bid and enter the new amount. Note that clicking the [Edit] box cancels your original bid, so be sure to enter your new bid before logging out. Note that all edits, deletes and new entries should be completed at least 2 minutes before auction end. In case of late edits, Gixen will make every effort to 1) cancel the edited snipe if already in progress, and 2) execute the updated snipe, but neither is guaranteed to succeed. It is, however, more likely that late delete / cancel will be successful than late addition, so in most cases late edit will result in cancellation only.

I recommend that everyone reads the whole of that page.
