I placed a bid manually first to make sure I could bid. Email and phone number are verified.
I saw a lot of posts on this and people mentioned wanting am example as I've described (not eligible after having already placed a manual bid)
Is there anything I should do? If contacting ebay, do I just mention that API orders are not being accepted?

Thank you for bringing this example to this forum.
To bring it to his attention sooner, please can you also email Mario (a link to this thread plus an indication of your Gixen id will do), then he should be able to take it up with Ebay directly himself.
An indication as to which of the earlier bids was yours might also be useful though.
The email address is on the Contact page. _________________ Mark |

eBay is asking you to verify your account.
You need to verify your account to bid or buy again.

Thank you for the quick reply.
I double checked before clicking the link you provided that my phone was Verified on the account. I went through the link you provided and did the verification again as you suggested.
I have another snipe ending in about a half hour. Will post back. |

That was it, I won.
How were you able to tell that was what was causing the issue?
Thank you very much! |

Mario has access to additional log files that are generated on the Gixen servers as the snipe progresses through its stages... it probably appeared there...
There's usually too much information to be able to fit it into the status field on the Gixen website, and it's only in cases like this that it can be useful. _________________ Mark |
