why did i not win the auction?

I used Gixen and did not win the auction despite Gixen bidding...

The bid increment at that price is $25.

Therefore due to the bid increment rule, in the last 7 seconds of the auction your bid would have needed to be 2450.00 or more to be accepted by Ebay. Hence the bid is indeed below the Ebay asking price.

Alternatively, since the last bid was placed with just 7 seconds to go you would have needed an offset larger than that, I presume your offset was less than 8 seconds on both servers ?... which is the reason I use a higher offset than the default 6 seconds, because it results in my bids being accepted more often when other snipers are interested in the items I am sniping.

I tried to increase the time offset to 8 in my settings - everytime I confirm with update it shows it is still the default 6 sec....

Any help on this?

Do you have a Mirror subscription ? It's one of the settings that is only effective during a subscription.
