In the FAQ's I see snipes are placed 5 seconds prior to the auction ending. The first of 4 snipes placed on this item was 2 days prior to the end.

I'm sorry but I'm not understanding fully what is being reported here ?

From what I can see there were only three snipe bids, all other bids were placed at least a few hours before the end of the auction.

Which bid are you saying was placed by Gixen in error ?

The amount and the number of feedbacks on the account is required for others to be able to distinguish which bid you are referring to.

The default is for Gixen to place bids 6 seconds before the auction end.

If a bid was placed 2 days early that would be a first proven case... others have thought this, but it's always proved to be a misunderstanding on the part of the Gixen user in previous instances.

Mark when I looked at this one it just says "Auction ended." I looked for an end date and time as per usual listings and didn't see that info. Ended early by seller perhaps?

On the 'Bidding history' page (looking via .co.uk) it states, at the end of the bidding:

Starting price US $9.99 10 Mar 2021 at 3:26:10pm GMT

and also (just above the bids):

Bidders:9 Bids:10 Time ended:17 Mar 2021 at 3:26:10pm GMT Duration:7 days

which, to me, indicates that it did run it's full course.

I don't see that Gixen ever placed a bid on this listing. It's impossible for Gixen to place a bid early... especially hours early.
