Gixen doesn't actually need to know your Ebay password.
The password you use to log into Gixen is different and it is recommended that you don't use the same one.
However, what Gixen does require is authority to be able to act on your behalf on Ebay. Often if you change your Ebay credentials that authority gets revoked by Ebay. Therefore, you should renew the authorisation using the second section of the Settings page, it costs nothing and only takes a couple of minutes to do.
