Hi,
Could you please tell me how to access my snipe history? Several times now I have placed snipes on auctions and after the auction ends I have checked my account and the snipe information for that particular auction is no where to be found.
Do I have to change a setting or . . .
Btw, this is a great program!
Thank you!

Snipes are present once you have logged in for about 2 days after the auction has finished... after that they are deleted and you can no longer get to them on gixen.
If you are not seeing this behaviour with your snipes please post again here. _________________ Mark |

Thank you Janet,
The history is kept for 48 hours after auction end. After that - it's gone. This is quite a needed feature to avoid stress on the servers.
P.S. If you change your password at eBay - everything is gone immediately, both scheduled snipes and the history. |

If you are bidding on a lot of items, I would recommend taking a look at JBidWatcher to keep track of items you're bidding on (and to archive them). JBidWatcher is a free Java program and even allows you to have your computer place time-conscious bids (although Gixen is much more reliable). _________________ John
