On these 3 items in a row, I got the error "HTTP TIMEOUT (77)", and lost all 3. My bid would have won easily on 2 of them. The eBay item id numbers were: 191921319950, 191921319954, & 351782129070. What happened? Can I do anything to avoid this happening? Will my next Gixen snipe attempt work?
Thank you |

In answer, my next snipe also did not work ID#232013231500. Same error. (48 minutes later) I did however bid live and won the item. I guess I will quit using Gixen until I get a response here and get this resolved. I normally use it a lot. |

mario or someone will answer us shortly, i'm sure.. they could be looking into it right now... my best advice is to get the mirror service.. and its super cheap... when one fails the other usually picks it up... and sometimes the results say you lost, but you actually won... i guess you have to go look at the mirror site to see you've won or look on ebay... i recommend the 6.00 a year mirror service.. well worth it and i am not at all affiliated with gixen other than as a user... |

same issue with me today.
I have premium as well, so the mirror must have failed also somehow.

I'm not sure if this is the same error, but I was not able to access any eBay page on any ebay site this morning !
So eventually I tried turning off the proxy script Gixen had me use and now I have full access to all eBay pages again ? |

Yes, all these reports seem to me to be related to the issue that Mario reported here:
http://www.gixen.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8023
That includes Gixen Socks Proxy sine that directs your Ebay usage via the Gixen main server.
Please report any failures on the Mirror server separately and include with those the status that was given on the Mirror tab. _________________ Mark |
