Can't adjust Max Bid in Gixen

Having big problems editing My Max Bids using Gixen.. On 4 occasions over the last few weeks I've tried to edit various Max Bids in Gixen but they don't update. Nothing wrong with my internet connection as that's working fine.

Sometimes Gixen works if I keep closing/opening it up but this is getting annoying.. I've tried starting the program with various different settings e.g As Admin, As compatible Windows version etc . Tried all options like Win 7.. Win XP .. Win 2000.. Nothing effects whether Gixen will update or not.

At present I've been waiting over half an hour for my Max Bid to be updated from GBP 14.00 to GBP 16.00 .. Bottom of Gixen window just shows.. Done Refreshing Prices .... Connecting to Gixen.

Good job I didn't bid GBP 500 by mistake or I would have had to pay as Gixen won't allow me to adjust my bid

This could be a connectivity problem of some kind. Have you tried using the web interface? All snipes that you see in GDM you can also view and edit in the web interface.

Thanks Mario, I'd actually forgotten about the web interface, so I'm using that now instead. It seems to work just fine as opposed to the GDM, and it's more functional too
