I did win the item as I had already posted the highest bid but gixen did not bid to increase my highest bid so nothing changed, I have another item I entered on your system which I'm currently not the highest bidder on so understandably want to check if there is a problem ?

Was the bid that was placed 5 seconds before the auction end a manual bid?

What was the status that Gixen gave the snipe after the auction had completed?

It is never possible on Ebay, to submit a bid that is lower than or equal to a bid that you have already placed, so if your snipe amount was the same as the amount that you had already bid that would explain why there was no extra bid.
