Login Timeout error

Hello everyone,

I lost item # 331687223146 because my bid didn't go through. Instead Gixen showed the following message: "Login Timeout Error" (or something similar). Anyone has any idea about what happened ?

Was this snipe Mirrored?... If so did you get the same status on both the Main and the Mirror tabs?

The error indicates that Ebay failed to respond to the attempt that Gixen made to log in to your account, in order to place the bid for you, in the manner that Gixen expects it to.

If you have only one server working for you, unfortunately that kind of thing happens every now and then (perhaps as much as once in every 300 or so snipes), but is much less likely to happen on two servers simultaneously, which was the most important reason why the Mirror service was introduced in the first place.
