Rude awakening - I can't log in to Gixen?

Hi guys! Hey, I came over this afternoon to schedule a snipe - and my password is refused!

My password contains ~ in it, but that never stopped me here before.

I use Opera Mini 5.0, and my device won't download new browsers (so I need some help from your IT dept to find a workaround).

Any suggestions? (I already tried pasting the configproxy thingie into my URL box, it ignores that).

Thanks! I'm current on my subscription, that isn't the problem. Paypal locked up my account for a day - and I had to spend 8 hrs getting to a level 2 person there to unlock it; interestingly, this required me to also log out and then back in to ebay, so I could complete checkouts there. Connected in some way with this login issue here?

Are you saying that you have had to reset your Ebay password recently then?

If that is the case it has been reported more than once here that changes credentials on Ebay triggers them to take action against accounts attempting to log in from locations other than their home. If that is the case the measures are usually temporary, a day or so, and it may just be best to wait for them to go away.

If the problem persists for longer than that, and you are certain that the credentials you are using exactly match what you use direct on the Ebay site, then it is usually best to revert to using email (the support address is on the 'Contact' tab above), because security issues specific to your account are best discussed in private and not on an open forum like this.

In any email communication please include your Ebay id, but never your whole password, it is fine to mention specific characters that you use, but that is very unlikely to be the cause of issue these days.
