I am in the UK, and use Gixen to bid mainly on eBay UK items. I have recently had a couple of bids fail because "Verification code required by eBay, could not log in" I carefully followed the instructions to set up verification for the Gixen IP address, but then cannot access ebay.co.uk - only ebay.com. I am guessing I need to bid on something via ebay.com, then remove the proxy settings in order to access ebay.co.uk - will this work?!

If you can't access ebay.co.uk via the Gixen proxy then Mario may need to tweak the proxy for you...

Please email him at the support address given on the 'Contact' tab above, include your Ebay id... and either refer back to this thread or explain it again as you have in your post.

Same here. I am based in the UK and the proxy doesn't open the Uk version of ebay for me too.I will send email to Mario.

I have the same problem though I'm based in Australia. Followed all the instructions then found I couldn't log into ebay.uk. (didn't try any other ebay site) Undid everything and was able to access ebay again. Will send an email later today.

So I sent my email to Mario, he got back to me with a simple request which even I (an illiterate computer user) could manage. Problem solved within a day and I'm back to winning snipes again.
