Placed bid not executed, at the end of the auction announcement was provided as follows: EBAY ERROR: TRANSACTION BLOCKED (can not bid on this kind of item)? ITEM No; 291559294776 - please explain. |

I think most likely this will be as a result of blocking features selected by the seller...
Have you had any interaction with this seller that might have caused them to take that action directly against your account?
Alternatively, sellers can select general blocks that are based on any unpaid items you have strikes against, a lack of overall feedback or no link in your Ebay account to a related Paypal account... If any of those apply to your account you may need to address those before sellers like this one will accept your bids. _________________ Mark |

I think you are trying to confuse an issue:
- there were no any bids on the item and there was no sale
- my bid (via Gixen) was not placed as it suppose to be at the last moment and I do not know why
- of course I did not have any contact with the seller why should I?
- my feedback is 100% and I never had any problems with Paypal and being upaid buyer.
You should do better your homework. |

pivko,
I put forward some possibilities... and posed some questions... I'd be interested in what homework you think I neglected?
If you would like Mario to look at the records held on the Gixen server relating to this snipe than I recommend that you contact him via the email address supplied on the 'Contact' tab above... and direct him to this thread... he may well respond here as well as via email. _________________ Mark |

As I noticed that you are a timewaster I contacted Mario before you suggested, Mario's a bit vague explanation below:
" My apology. I found that in some cases this was a result of ebay inserting certain advertisements that contain keywords that were recognized as "bid too low" pages. This is fixed now.
Mario." |

Thanks for answering my question, as I attempted to provide answers for yours.
Mario has updated this thread:

.. with much the same explanation, what do you feel is still unclear?
I am sorry you feel I am wasting your time... if you feel you can do better you are more than welcome to try providing your own assistance to others on here, from your own experience... where I find the information provided by others is accurate or at least plausible, I don't tend to intervene at all.
Finally I will clear up this question:
Quote: |
of course I did not have any contact with the seller why should I? |
I often do to get more accurate details about the condition of items, where that is not made clear enough, or to get shipping costs where these are not specified to my location... There are many other reasons to do so, where previous transactions, with the same seller, do not go to plan.. this is not always a waste of time but can lead to disagreements where sellers decide they do not wish to accept your bids in future. _________________ Mark

pivko, very rarely does it happen that Mark does not have accurate information, as we communicate on a daily basis. And over the years he has saved me so much time that you cannot even imagine, and helped users in a much more timely manner that I am often able to. And all that with no compensation at all.
Any fault here is mine (as I failed to communicate the details to him this time), not his, and I apologize if it took too long to get the answer. |
