can't login ti gixen

Hello

I now changed my eBay password twice and I still can't access Gixen.
The system is telling me my password is invalid.

what is wrong there?

The most likely cause is that Ebay have imposed measures against your account logging in from a different location (the Gixen server) from where you changed your password.

These measures are usually temporary, designed by Ebay to protect your account.

I recommend not trying to log in to Gixen for 24 hours and if the problem is still there after that to email Mario at the support address given on the Contact tab above, making reference to this thread.

same here.
I can log into ebay just fine but cannot log into gixen using the same exact credentials. something is not right as i do snipes all the time without problems.

It is not unique for you to be able to log in from one location fine whereas from another Ebay puts up blocks that can not be overcome by an automated process, such as Gixen.

Though it may affect a few different accounts at the sane time, it isn't a widespread issue... we would be seeing many more reports here if it were so... I haven't had any issues logging in to Gixen.

So my advice remains the same as in my first post on this thread.

I have the same problem.
This was fine till about 2 days ago. Even if my password haven't change on Ebay or gixen.
Can log without problem on ebay but suddenly not on Gixen anymore.

I can... so it isn't universal... do you use the 'Import Watch list' feature?

That seems to be the cause of some peoples issues with this recently.

If it is found that is the cause I think it might be time for Gixen to disable that feature... or at least redesign it as a batch process that only happens when a snipe is executed.

No I don't use this feature. I just switch to german and try to login. It is not possible whatsoever. I even tried the English version but after that gixen tells me to use the proxy server and/or change my eBay p/w because of the security issues they had in 2014. I did this already...

Have you set the Gixen proxy up again and then logged in to Ebay with no issues that you needed to address?

Well, I still can't login to gixen with the proxy. Signing in to ebay only works with the .com domain. The .de Domain is not even loading. Oddly the gixen page with the manual to set up the proxy says that I am not connected to gixen even though the ip has changed after setting up the proxy and reloading the page. Thanks for your help in advance!

You must get to the point where Gixen confirms you are using the proxy before logging in to Ebay... and you must log into the Ebay site that you have set up as your target on the Gixen 'Settings' page.

Then, and only then, will you be replicating what the Gixen server is trying to do for you, so that you can detect exactly what issue Gixen is having with your Ebay account.
