to put this in a nut shell:
1.) item 171545215909 was listed for 48.50 starting bid and $2.32 shipping
2.) i placed a bid using gixen.com my highest bid was for $17.68
3.) LUCKILY i did my OWN bid MYSELF before the auction was over..for $17.68 highest bid.
4.) when the auction was over (I WON with a $14.86 plus shipping bid) but when i checked gixen it said "bid was lower then amount that was won"..(or something like that) BUT it WASNT LOWERE cause I WON it.
5.) just wondering WHY it said my bid was too LOW??
thanks for any help

Because you placed your own bid before Gixen had a chance to do so for you.
Ebay will not allow you to place two bids of the same amount on an auction.. when you try the second time Ebay tells you that you must bid more... that is the situation Gixen will have encountered and has thus reported back to you what Ebay told it... the bid Gixen tried to place was too low to be accepted, it was under the price Ebay was asking it to bid.
If you want Gixen to place bids for you they must be higher than those you have already placed. _________________ Mark |
