Bids not being registered into eBay!

Never had problems using this service prior to changing my eBay password as mandated by eBay. Now, it appears none of my bids are being entered(confirmed in eBay's Bid History). Most recent example is item number 131219216031 (message reads: "Could not bid: Phone or text verification requested by eBay"). Contacted eBay and was told "no verification needed".

Please email Mario at the support address given on the Support tab above... you don't need verification to bid from home... however, it is possible that on your account Ebay has new measures that mean you need to verify bids that come via the Gixen servers... Mario can provide some instructions to allow you to do that.. but only on a need ti know basis... hence the need to email him... explain the problem, as you have above, when you contact him
