Gixen Bid didn't register

Hello,

I had Gixen set up to snipe item 281293125181 last night, my max bid was GBP 399.67. Gixen submitted a bid of GBP 205.00 which although was the highest bid, was below the reserve price, so I didn't win. Was a bit frustrating!

I am not sure how Gixen came up with the GBP 205.00, although Ebay report the next lowest bid as GBP 200.00, so maybe it was a bid increment issue.

I have been using Gixen quite a bit recently & all has been great. Other than this time - a great product - Thank-you.

This is normal behaviour for Ebay Neil... your bid of GBP 399.67 was submitted to Ebay... but that is also below the reserve price so you did not win.

On the auction page itself Ebay only ever reports the current auction price which is the second highest bidders maximum bid plus one bid increment.

Rest assured Gixen did the right thing for you but the seller wanted more than your highest bid.

I see the seller has re-listed, perhaps this time they may have lowered their reserve to a more reasonable amount, they will not be aware what your maximum bid actually was.
