EBAY ERROR: LOGIN TIMEOUT (2) 371000289143

Had 4 snipes from single seller within minutes, roughly 11AM Pacific Time.
One, that I think would have won, for a $1000 item, 371000289143,
went for less than half of my snipe,
which gave the following error:
EBAY ERROR: LOGIN TIMEOUT (2) .
The other 3 snipes went through.
Never got this error before, what is the cause, and how often does it happen?
Will need to get another backup sniping service if this happens
reasonably regularly.

All servers were affected shortly around that time for about 20 minutes, and then again 10 minutes later for another half an hour, so I suspect that eBay was doing something around that time. Timeouts were intermittent, not all snipes failed around that time.

This does not happen often, so you were quite unlucky. Since timeouts were intermittent, mirror might or might not have helped.
