ebay bids dropped. first time

Hi for the first time two bids i put into gixen failed to bid and they were suddenly gone upon logon. one item has ended and one is still going on. going on item Pentax Super-Takumar 55 mm F/1.8 Lens (261237605804) just disappeared as did the ended item Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic Leather Case (251297156999) So why did this happen. I really need to know we can not have a repeat as then lens is very important to me and im out of town and not near internet. Thanks for your help in advance.

The primary reason that a snipe would disappear and/or bids would not be placed, would be if your credentials had changed...

Have you changed your ebay id or password?

It looks like you changed your password. When you do that you have to re-enter all your snipes. Consider all snipes under your old password gone, they will not go through, and you will no longer see them.
