My snipe has disappeared

I set up a snipe for an item, and I checked a couple of times before the item ended, the snipe was 'scheduled'. However, when I checked back after the item ended, the snipe had disappeared from Gixen. I cheked the item in ebay and it had been won by someone else, with a lower bid than my snipe.

I thought that maybe I had messed up, so I tried again on another similar item. Item No. 170927730833 Exactly the same thing happened. Can you shed any light please?

I've been using Gixen happily for some time and it has worked fine up to now, great software, thank-you, but what's happened?

The only reasons for snipes to 'disappear', that I know of, are that the auction finished more than 48 hours ago, it finished on the 27 October, if you did not look at it till 29th October, could this be the case?...

Or that credentials have been changed, i.e. you changed your eBay id or password, if it's not the first reason, can you please confirm that is not the case either?
