Grouped bidding is fine for two items which end at the same time or the item ending first is more undervalued.

Lets say I'd like to purchase a used camera.

I am willing to pay max $300 for camera A.

I think camera A is worth $30 more than camera B (max $270).

The auction for camera A ends 5 minutes before camera B.

Is there a way to bid such that:
If Camera B is selling for more than $30 less than camera B, it cancels the bid for camera A?

i.e. not send the bid for camera A if it is selling for $299 when camera B is still at $200?

No way to do this unfortunately, and I also think it's a risky thing to assume that the price for B will not change drastically in the last 5 minutes. You may not be the only bidder sniping.

Its the same concept though, in that you dont pay more for your max price of camera B, although you may end up paying more than you would have for A. Its just a way to create a fixed spread for used items which may have different value.

I understand the concept but I doubt very many would use it if it were implemented.
