Hi,
I have a problem with gixen. When I log in, it doesn't show me my listed shipes, all it shows me is this:
Warning: pg_connect() [function.pg-connect]: Unable to connect to PostgreSQL server: could not connect to server: No route to host Is the server running on host "tesla.gixen.com" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432? in /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/gixen/bidsdatabase.php on line 18
Warning: pg_close(): supplied argument is not a valid PostgreSQL link resource in /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/gixen/settings.php on line 141
what shall I do?

One of the servers was rebooted some half an hour ago, which caused the problem. It should be back to normal now, please try to log in now.
I am waiting for response from my hosting facility as to why this happened.
Some snipes have failed in the past half an hour (the message will be "HTTP TIMEOUT (77)").

Since I am a (5 year) mirror member having one server down should not matter since the other server will still bid. Correct.
What a bargin at $6.00 which is why I bought 5 years. Everyone needs to be a mirror member. It is just very cheap insurance.
Thanks for simplifying my life and reducing my BLxxd Pressure.

That's right Paul.
Having one server re-booted unexpectedly does not necessarily mean that all snipes that are only on Main fail at that time though... these days there is more than one server that provides the Main service the work is distributed between them, they don't automatically take on the work of the missing one, that is what the Mirror service is for.
