Hello,
I am totally new to Gixen and would appreciate some help.
There are 2 items that I would like to win on Ebay UK (260926861355 & 260926864815).
I've inputted the item numbers and my max bid on the Gixen main page but there is nothing to show me that my request has been received.
I have purchased a Mirror membership for added security but I"m just not sure how this all works and wether I will only see my bid once the auction has ended.
Can you help please and is there a tutorial available?
Thank you! |

I have been using Gixen for a while in the free format and have been very pleased with it.
I too have just purchased the the subscription and would also like to know what my settings should be for ebay uk.
many thanks in advance for any help anyone can give. |

Hello again,
I seem to have found the answer , when I import items from my watch list and then bid on the same items nothing appears in the bid column.
So I've started from scratch and copied the item number directly from ebay into Gixen and that seems to have fixed the problem. I can now see my proposed bid in the bid column
Fingers crossed! |

When you just import your items, maximum bid will be set to 0.00, so you have to edit them and modify the amount to the desired value.
As for settings for the UK, it's probably best to set target servers to UK, or to set the main to UK, and mirror to US, with main server having higher offset (executed first). I prefer 8 seconds for main, 6 for mirror, to take advantage of bid increment rule over other snipes. What I just described is a pretty good and safe combination that rarely breaks, as ebay usually does not update ebay.com and ebay.co.uk at the same time. |
