Hi all, I'm new to the site and I'm wondering what this option does?
[Turn On/Off weak password warning]
Does it warn me when I try log in to this site, or only after a failed log-in to ebay?
Because if it warns after a failed log in to ebay for a scheduled snipe, it might be too late...
On the other hand, I do not to receive a warning message every time I try to log in just because of a possibly weak password because that would be annoying...
Please help to clarify...

By the way, what are the symbols for passwords known to cause issues? It would be better for us not to use them rather than to find out through failed log in/snipes.

It will warn you right away. Note that Gixen and eBay's criteria for a weak/strong password may not be the same, however if you meet Gixen's criteria and use no dictionary words, it's extremely unlikely eBay will not consider it a strong password.
I would not use a dollar sign (Gixen UI is in php, and this really makes problems), +, &, or blank spaces. I would also not use any unicode characters. Everything else should be fine. |
