For normal/regular Groups you only want one of them.
All the items that you are interested in you assign to the same Group number when you set them up by selecting that Group from the drop down list of Groups before you press the Add button. What Gixen does is cancel all the other items in the same Group as soon as you win one of them.
If you want to bid on more than one item until you lose one that is a different type of Group, I can explain how to set those up too but I imagine you will not be interested in those. _________________ Mark |

Each Group is to buy only one item, yes, it is pointless having a Group with only one item in it... you would be better not Grouping at all if you always want to snipe them.
For a Normal/Regular Group you don't mind which of the items you win but you DON'T want to win more than one, so usually you would have many items all of the same type in the same Group and you want to make sure you only win one.
If you have more than one thing that you want to buy, but many auctions that offer those items you might then set up one Group for each of the things that you want to buy.
So for example you might have one Group for all the tickets to a Classical concert that you would like to go to, and a different Group for all the tickets to a Jazz concert that you also want to go to.... but you only want one ticket for each of the concerts.
When you have items that you want and it makes no difference whether you want the other things as well whether or not you win that auction then you don't Group those snipes at all. _________________ Mark |
