Hi,
I just have a couple of questions. I subscribed to Gixen Mirror and put in my first snipe for two items last night. I went to bed, forgot about it and in the morning found I won both items. I was so happy and I did not over commit myself with emotions. Anyway, when I went in to have a look in Gixen it stated that one item was "won" and one item was one by "Gixen Mirror". What is the difference? Does this mean that if I was using the "free"version of Gixen then the Gixen Mirror would not have stepped in to win the bid that was won by Gixen Mirror. For $6.00 I just subscribed to Gixen Mirror inititally instead of the free version as at that price it is a bargain!
Further, one last question. Can you bid on yourself. What I mean by this is if I manually bid on an item and then I put on a snipe, will they compete against each other...will I compete against myself or does Gixen realise the username is the same? One of the item numbers was 160614078502.
Please advise.
Thank you.

It's completely random which server will get your item first (unless if you use different offsets, than the one with larger offset will likely get it first). It's completely normal to see "WON" on one server, and "BID UNDER ASKING PRICE" on another.
As for your second question - you can never bid against yourself. |

Yes Mario is right, it is never a problem that acheduling a snipe here on Gixen will compete with an existing bid... this is because the way eBay works if you have the the two highest bids the price is not raised... only when your lower bid is outbid by another user does your higher bid come into play. _________________ Mark |
