I like the simple interface and the forum, which I consulted to check up on user's experiences prior to use.

I've used a sniping service for years so I don't get caught up in auction fever or get shilled either. I started using Gixen recently and was immediately impressed by the simple, clean look. And it works as expected. After a couple of test bids on things I could buy any day, I won a rare book which I had been looking for for 5 years, at a reasonable price too. Result.

So I'm happy to pay $6 a year for the enhanced service. Come on all you doubters, you could save the subscription price on one auction and help support the site!
