| Can you please advise on what is the best optimum time to set an automatic bid; 3, 4, 5, 6 or more seconds. Thank you. |

It is left as an option for people to set precisely because there is no agreement about what is best.
There is a lot of discussion about it on other threads here though.
Different scenarios produce different outcomes for different offsets. Personally I prefer offsets that are a bit longer than the default of 6 seconds as I gain the advantage of the bid increment rule as a result, but the benefits of that are marginal at best.
