Gixen never bidded for an item

Good evening, I put in a snipe bid for an item and it never went through and I lost the item? I would like to know why this happened? The number was 264691866761

If you look at the listing there is a message at the top:

'This seller is currently away. If you make a purchase, there may be a delay in processing your order. '

Mario sent an email out about this kind of listing a couple of weeks ago, because this is a known problem which we are waiting for Ebay engineers to fix.
