Hi,
According to gixen I won article 233510572823. But that is not true according to ebay: another user won it for the same amount as my maximum bid. |

I agree this is a defect and it is not the first time that it has been reported.
It must be the case that the Ebay API is not clearly indicating that the bid is already a loser, as a response to it being submitted by Gixen, otherwise Gixen would immediately indicate that the bid was not sufficient at that point.
Therefore the defect is either with Ebays' API or with the interpretation of the response by Gixen.
Either way it needs to be fixed, and since Mario has already been made aware of other instances of this issue I imagine he's already investigated where the fix needs to come from, to a certain extent. _________________ Mark |

It looks like there is a bug - if user is outbid with identical bid from another user that placed his / her maximum bid previously, Gixen does not detect this. I am looking into this. I will post another update when I have a fix. |

This should be fixed now, and fix is deployed both to main and mirror servers. |
