Hi,
two snipes (incl. # 293394331814) just went wrong for the same reason,
quote :
The seller has set a maximum purchase quantity limit for a buyer, over a 10 day period. You are the winning bidder on, or have bought, the maximum-allowed number of this seller's items in the past 10 days.
I bought only one single item from the same seller some minutes before, everything went fine.
I've never seen such a limit on Ebay since 2000, what does it mean ? Who could possibly want to restrain sales ?? |

The seller does have this tool... I guess it is designed to allow sellers to offer loss leading items with the hope of future business or greater positive feedback... without the danger that just a few buyers pick up all the stock therefore reducing the scope of the promotion ... in this case the seller must have set the limit at just one item.
Rather than speculate you could ask the seller directly, their reasoning as to why that was a good idea for them to do that. _________________ Mark |
