|
|
Hi,
I've placed some snipes on my Gixen account but I don't understand how to set the bid.
I have one item at a current bid of ÂGBP 10.
I have set the Max Bid for it for ÂGBP 15.
With an offset of 6 seconds, does the tool, 6 seconds before the end of the auction place the next higher up bid recommended by ebay or does it place a bid of ÂGBP 15? |

It places GBP 15 as max bid, but then eBay proxy bids on your behalf up to 15 GBP. You may win it for as little as GBP 10 + bid increment. |

I just have done a snipe and the tool did nothing. On the last few seconds it did not place any bids. |

If you "just did a snipe" "on the last few seconds" of an auction that could be the problem right there.
Snipes placed within the last 2 minutes before an auction close may not be executed. It's not enough time for gixen to do it's thing. That's why there is that "2 minute warning" on your snipe bidding page once you are logged in.
