Last nights snipe seems to have failed. Reason saying 'Timeout'.
Am really disappointed as it was an item I had really wanted.

Can I ask, if I get membership, will this not happen ever again?
I must admit the service is normally excellent, but once or twice bids haven't happened.
Want to avoid this. |

Unfortunately, this occasionally happens. A mirror subscription avoids this for all practical purposes since bids are sent from both servers. It's possible that an issue could occur with both the main and mirror services, but the likelihood is so remote that we've never seen it happen.
