I may have done something stupid but I set up a snipe for 142709732283 which ended at 10 Mar 2018 at 5:27:41PM GMT. The bidding ended at ÂGBP 14.50 and my maximum bid was ÂGBP 50.

There were no bids submitted on my behalf.

In the box where the status appears it says "No linked PayPal account. Buyer does not have a linked PayPal account."

I also received a auction end notice:

Your bid was blocked by Ebay.

What this means is that on Ebay you have not told them what email address you have registered for your Paypal account, and the seller of that item has specified that only people with Paypal accounts can bid on their item, because that is how they want to be paid.

On Ebay you need to go to the 'Account' tab within 'My eBay', so, once you are logged in there.

Then select the 'PayPal account' link on the left hand side and you will get the option to provide them with the information that they require in order to avoid this happening in future.
