Mirror Offset - What is it?

Hello. Regarding the timing of my snipe on Gixen, I don't understand the use of the word "offset" in your instructions below. Offset from what? Are those numbers the exact amount of seconds prior to end of listing the snipe(s) get sent? How then does "offset" work and what is it?

Yes, but only if you subscribe to Gixen's mirror service, in which case you can choose 3, 6 (default), 8, 10, 12 or 15 seconds from the [Offset:] drop-down box.

It's the offset from the end of the auction.

So the number specified is the number of seconds, before the auction ends, that you would like Gixen to attempt to place your bid.
