Failed Bid (main & mirror)

Hello

Just experienced a failed bid on Item ID 382198971682 - both the main and mirror bids weren't placed and the item was won by a previous lower bid.

The auction status was given as "Auction ended. This auction has ended."

I'm a bit mystified as this has not happened before and although I have found some other "failed bid" threads on the forum I have not been able to work out what to do to avoid a possible repetition.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

What Offset did you give the snipe, on both the Main and Mirror ?

There was a recent incident, like this, where the offset was 1 on both servers, discussed here.

OK Gavin,

Only Mario can look into it in any more detail, I can't see anything unusual, on Ebay, about the auction itself.

I suggest that you email him direct at the support address given on the Contact tab above, please include a link to this thread, your Gixen id and your Ebay id in that email.
