|
|
This afternoon I set my snipe to bid $7.07 several hours ahead on this item which was at $5 and sold for $7.00 BUT gixen said "BID UNDER ASKING PRICE" ????
item# 192220643826 OtterBox Defender Series Case and Holster for iPhone 4/4S White/Gray (by brelovesyoumore_9) Offset: 2, ENDED, BID 7.07, current 7.00 USD, status BID UNDER ASKING PRICE"
I have been winning with a 2 second offset for quite awhile because I kept getting beat by a few cents when using the 3 second offset. |

This is one of the most frequently asked questions, which is why it is included on the FAQ tab above. I recommend that all users read that at some point.
The Ebay rules dictate that to be accepted your bid must be at least one bid increment more than the current auction price.
The later that you schedule your bid to be placed the more likely you are to have your bid as s result of this rule, because the later your bid the more snipes you allow to be placed before yours, each of which increases the auction price by at least one bid increment. _________________ Mark |
