Bid under asking price???

Hi, with regard to item 252924563470, my max bid was 378.9. How come someone else won it at 376? The message is 'bid under asking price', but I can't make sense of this. Thanks, Marco

Because for Ebay to accept a bid it must be at least one bid increment more than the current auction price.

So the status is correct because Ebay required that you bid more than you were prepared to.
