The way it works here is that when you set up a snipe Gixen stores the password you used to log in, and that gets used to log in when the time comes.
If you change your password all those snipes you set up before the change are going to fail, because the password associated with them is wrong.
You can log in with an old password, until you log in with a new one, because Gixen keeps a one way hash of the last successful password for comparison purposes only, so that it doesn't have to check back with Ebay every time you log in.
So if you have snipes scheduled with an old password the I suggest the first thing to do is login with your old password and delete them, then log out.
Then log in with your new password, and schedule your snipes once more, so that the correct password is stored with them.
If you currently have no scheduled snipes, you just log in with your new password, and you are sorted. _________________ Mark |
