Mirror Acct should you change bid offset

I was wondering if you change your bid offset on the mirror servers to like 6 and 3 if that is a smart thing to do or keep them the same?

The reason that it is left as an option, is that there is no universal agreement about what is best.

Personally, larger offsets than the standard 6 seconds work best for me because I an involved with bidding on items where there are many other snipers that all agree pretty much on the value of the items in question... so having the bid increment rule working in my favour works best for me... but in other circumstances others argue that smaller offsets work best.

If you search this forum you will find plenty of ongoing discussion of this issue over the many years that Gixen has been running.
