|
|
Hi I have tried everything short of standing on my head to get this to stay in the box. Not only does it fail, but I have 3 browsers that I have attempted to get it to work on! I followed the instructions to the T and each time I type it in, it will disappear after I press "OK". Sigh, please help me!
In the interest of time, since I emailed on the contact button without a response, I know that he is very busy, I went ahead and opened another account no biggie $6 is worth what merch I would have missed! It is up and running like a champ! But what happens when I get that same message:
CANCELED - VERIFICATION CODE REQUIRED BY EBAY
Cause I do NOT have a third account! Please anyone that can help me I would appreciate it!!

I am sorry I don't understand... You have the Gixen socks proxy enabled in your browser I presume?
Is this something that Ebay are asking you to do when you are logged into your Ebay account, with the Gixen socks proxy enabled?... If so, you would be better talking to Ebay about it.
If it isn't something on Ebay, then I think we need further clarification about what you are doing, and what exactly is failing, other than that you snipes get the 'VERIFICATION CODE REQUIRED BY EBAY' status after they have completed. _________________ Mark |

No if it were enabled, I would have no issue. When i type it in the box to set it, press ok then if I go back in, it is not there, it disappears. The apply button never activates either. I have no idea of why it would do this?
Anyone? Please help......
Does it in ALL 3 browsers, Chrome, regular IE and Mozilla Firefox. I tried all of them with no luck.
Thanks,

Do you have administrator access to this computer, or is it owned and maintained by someone else? _________________ Mark |

No, it is my personal computer I am the only one that uses it, I have done the instructions as they are written to no avail, they appear with the error code. I even tried letting ALL cookies through and that did not even work. Also have looked to other forums for an answer. I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

Hi, I was having the exact same issues but I changed my proxy settings to the one for gixen server, cleared out my cookies and after a week of no joy it began to work again.
Be careful not to log in from say a mobile phone that isn't configured to go through a proxy and also remember some is s don't allow proxy so you may be wasting your time.
Every time I logged on through my brothers WiFi my bids would get blocked until I got home and logged on and verified from there via gixen proxy.
Good luck. |

Once you have the proxy enabled... and you have tried placing a manual bid... if Ebay puts some kind of block in your way... and you overcome that by following the instructions that Ebay give... then the problems should go away.
They may come back if you schedule snipes for bids to be placed at exactly the same second though... that is a a behaviour known to cause this issue, seemingly without end, resulting in you continually having to verify your account with Ebay. _________________ Mark |

Probably, this service can help you with your issue - advanced.name, I use it sometimes, and never saw any problem with it. |
