Hello,
I've 'lost' a few auctions, where NO one tried to catch, only me via gixen, and gixen tells me:
"EBAY ERROR: BID FLOW RESET (2)"

What does that mean - what can I do?

Greethings ...

Is Zuckerette, your Ebay id?

It is not an error/status that I have ever seen myself... and I do have great deal of experience using Gixen.

For that reason I think it might be something that is different about your Ebay id, or about the auctions that you choose to snipe.

I imagine that Ebay is throwing up pages that Gixen does not expect at odd times in the process of placing your bid.

If you would like more detailed analysis please provide example auction ids for which you have had this message.

It would also be useful if you could tell us approximately what proportion of your snipes get this, is it 1 in 10, 1 in 50, 1 in 100 etc.?

Hi Cupid,

this Error-Message happend to me since a few days, I've deleted some, where no one has bid until end.

Here is a screenshot of the last error-messages - these auctions all went over the price I've tried to bit.

imagelink: directupload.net/file/d/4250/ocyphyay_png.htm

And yes: its my Ebay-ID and Gixen has been working PERFECT - until 1-2 wekes ago.

Any idea?
Best wishes,
Zuckertte

To look into it further the auction ids are needed, unfortunately your image doesn't include them.

If you don't want the auction ids available here please email Mario at the support address given on the 'Contact' tab above. As well as the auction ids please include your Ebay id, if you send an email.

Hi, I got the same error for the last 4 auctions. I wasn't very amused....the last item number was 401110834104. Thanks for any reply,

Were these auctions mirrored?.. If so, did you get the same status reported on the Mirror tab?

Did you get that status on the Mirror tab as well?

It happens if Ebay inserts another login screen late in the process of placing the bid... sometimes it is an indication that the Ebay servers are overloaded and have been reset, loosing the current login sessions... but, if it happens often on your Ebay account, it can also be an indication that Ebay want something more from you, perhaps more verification steps.

As Mark said - ebay wants something from you. Please try to place a bid manually, and see what it is. It should be right after that second login screen.
