cannot log in to Gixen

When I try to log into Gixen (using my 'remebered' password, which I have not changed in a year) I get the below error.
1.) No
2.) I did and it took the same password I tried to manually use on Gixen

5.) No
6.) did not do, will try

Password is not a match. Could not log you in.

eBay refused your password. Please check the following:

1) If you changed your eBay password, it may take up to 24 hours for you to be able to log in to Gixen. This is because it is common for eBay to inserts captcha images in that time period, preventing Gixen from logging in on your behalf.

2) Try to log in with the same username/password combination directly at the ebay website. If this fails, you have to resolve the problem with ebay directly.

3) If you use multiple languages / locales, check that your keyboard is set to the right one.

4) Some special characters presented a problem for Gixen in the past. If you use an unusual character in your ebay password, please let us know what it is (never email your full password, just the character in question).

5) If you changed your ebay password, the new password applies to Gixen as well. All the snipes scheduled with the old password are invalid and you have to re-enter them. You can no longer see the old sniping entries.

6) Finally, as of May 21st 2014, you may have to associate your account with Gixen IPs. You can do that by using Gixen socks proxy, by following instructions on [supplied on a need to know basis]

The next step is, as you suggest, to enable the Gixen socks proxy in your browser.

Then try logging into Ebay and see if there are any blockages that Ebay has put in place on your account from logging in via the Gixen server.

... and now my Gixen account has been suspended !!

If your account is suspended for this reason the suspension will be automatically lifted after an hour.

You still need to take steps in order to try to ensure you don't just immediately get your account suspended again... as detailed above.

I have the same problem. No ebay pw change and have always been able to log in to via gixen... until today. I, too, am now locked out of my account.

please provide info on how to complete the following:

If the instructions are not being presented to you, and you still need them after the suspension is lifted, you need to email Mario direct at the support address given on the 'Contact' tab above and include your Ebay id.

I just tried logging in and had the same issue and am now suspended. My eBay login has not changed and I have checked it. Is there a fix? Thanks.

It isn't universal.. I, for instance, can log in without issue.

Of course, I have no idea how widespread this issue is, or whether it is sporadic or consistent for individual accounts.

I can say that the more reports Mario gets via email to the support address on the 'Contact' tab above, with specific details and Ebay ids, the more likely he is to perform further investigation and find out if there is an underlying issue that can be fixed either by changes to the software or configuration on the Gixen side of things.
