The username and password appearing is a feature of your Browser, not of Gixen.
To stop that happening you need to clear all the information stored by your browser, and then not select the option to store them again when you enter new credentials and your browser asks you whether you want to store them or not.
In any case the storage of those credentials is on your own computer, it is not sent to Gixen until you press the 'Log in Now' button... and then only via a secure link to the Gixen server. Those credentials are then only retained on the Gixen servers for as long as you have snipes scheduled... if you have no snipes then there is nothing that can be used to log into your account that is retained on the Gixen servers.
As Mario has stated elsewhere, there has been no compromise of anyone's confidential data ... the action that Ebay has taken is simply as a precaution since Gixen has been used as a conduit to attack Ebay... and all our accounts are associated with the Gixen servers since we log in legitimately via those servers all the time to place our snipe bids. _________________ Mark |
