I recently bid in two auctions, which I lost. Gixen is displaying the "Current Bid" price as lower than both my bid and the winning bid.
It seems that Gixen hasn't updated the "Current Bid" to reflect the winning bid price.
It's not a biggie, just a wierd display behaviour, but why is it happening?

The process of retrieving the final auction price has to occur after the auction has completed... and is undertaken as a follow on activity after the more important task of placing the bid has been completed several seconds earlier.
Sometimes that follow on activity is not successful in getting access to the final price, leading to the behaviour you describe.
