Password does not match. Pw ok at ebay.com, tried proxy.

I don't know why I keep getting password does not match.
Login at ebay.com is working, gixen login still fails, cleared cookies, tried gixen proxy, gixen login still fails.

Full details:
1) I get 2 gixen login failures then an "account locked" message.
2) At ebay.com, I logout and login & I saw that ebay asked for a cell phone number "to increase account security" or something along that line. But there was an option to skip (which I did). I logout and login 2nd time on ebay.com. Ebay asks me to update my security questions, I select ask me later. 3rd login, all clear, no extra steps from ebay. At this point, I presume the extra steps presented by ebay was the issue.
3) Wait 1 hour (since I got the gixen "account locked" message) try gixen login, still fails.
4) Check ebay.com again, logout and login, no problem, no extra steps from ebay.
5) Try gixen login, still fails.
6) Try gixen proxy. Login at ebay.com, no problem, no extra steps from ebay. (cleared all ebay cookies, checked proxy is active at gixen.com/whatsmyip.php)
7) Try gixen login, still fails.

Ok, now I'm at a loss. What else can I do?

Bonus question: When exactly does the gixen account lock start? After 2 wrong passwords or after 3? Aka does gixen attempt to login with ebay the 3rd time or is it already locked, no 3rd attempt is actually made.

The third attempt is not actually made, Ebay now introduces measures against your account after only three failed login attempts... so Gixen has no choice but to only allow you two in order to try to prevent that happening to your account.

I think you need to get back to the point that Ebay asks you for further steps, and actually perform those further steps, without bypassing the page before your issues are going to be resolved.

I think that having the Gixen socks proxy in place, is probably the best method to get Ebay to present that option to you again, so I recommend keeping that in place and repeatedly logging in and out of ebay, until the option to verify your account is presented to you again.

Thanks. Just wasn't sure if it was 2 or 3. I read another thread about the login attempt limit, so I completely understand that gixen doesn't have a choice there. Just happy gixen is available at all.

Login works after a couple hours went by and I tried again.

I'm having the same issue today. Cleared all of the eBay interrogation items. Now I login to eBay with my regular password no problem. Just waiting for the Gixen hour to clear.
