Received an odd error code

everything has been flawless up to today when I received this message at the end of an auction.

Status (main): UNKNOWN ERROR (3)
Status (mirror): COULD NOT BID: PHONE OR TEXT VERIFICATION REQUESTED BY EBAY

No big deal, but was wondering what caused it. Thanks.

This is most likely due to a block being placed by Ebay against your account logging in from remote locations (in this case the Gixen servers) without further verification.

Hopefully the measure is temporary and will not affect future snipes from your account, however if that is not the case it may require further action from you (with Mario's help) to get the blockage removed.

Well, I finally find a solution to missing the ending of auctions and Ebay screws it up. All my items were cancelled by Ebay as follows:

I think you are going to have to set up the Gixen socks proxy and then verify your account with that in place.

If you don't already have access to those instructions via the links on the failed snipes then I recommend emailing Mario at the support address given on the 'Contact' tab above. Always include your Ebay id, but never your password in such emails.
