Sometimes that can be because Ebay has imposed temporary measures that prevent your account from logging in from different locations, like the Gixen server, which is what you are trying to do when you log in here.
Gixen tries to check the credentials that you enter by logging into Ebay to check that you have provided valid credentials that it can use to place bids for you, at a later stage. If it is prevented from doing so from the Gixen server for some reason the assumption is that the credentials are incorrect, but the reason may be that the account is temporarily blocked from doing so.
Often the measures are temporary and a day or so later you can log in here again without any issue with those same credentials.
If your problem is more persistent than that it is usually best to deal with it via email, since you don't want to be discussing details of your credentials on an open forum like this one. You can contact Mario direct at the support email address given on the 'Contact' tab above... always include your Ebay id, but never your password in email messages. _________________ Mark |

cstephen67,
Those measures that Ebay impose, that I talk about in my last post, are most often imposed when you change your credentials.
What Ebay sees is a change of credentials and then an attempt to log in from a different location (the Gixen server), and though legitimate in this case that looks like the sort of activity that happens when an Ebay account is compromised.
Ebay then imposes sanctions to protect your account as well as themselves.
This is why I now recommend that people do not attempt to use Gixen for at least a day or so after changing credentials.
Fortunately the measures Ebay take are usually temporary, so you should find you are able to log in again here with those credentials shortly, perhaps even tomorrow. If that is not the case, as advised above, revert to using email contact direct with Mario. _________________ Mark |
